The Curious Mind Homeschool Center fared well in the hurricane.  We have branches down and some general clean-up, but no damage.  As of Sunday night we still have no electricity.

CLASSES:  Our classes follow KISD's recommendations.  If KISD has cancelled classes, then our classes are cancelled as well.  If KISD is in session, then we will have classes as well.  KISD announces its bad weather plans on the major radio and television stations.  You can also check their website-- www.KatyISD.org.

If KISD is in session, please call The Curious Mind in the morning before coming to class.  If the answering machine picks up, then we have electricity and classes will be held in our classrooms as usual.  If the answering machine does *not* pick up, then our electricity is still out and classes will be held in the home of April Watson in the Heritage Square subdivision (near the Cinco Ranch area).  April's address is 823 Legend Spring  Katy, TX 77494. 

STORE:  As above, please call to verify if we have electricity.  The store will not re-open until our electricity is restored.
